Job Description:Nursing Associate (Outpatients Diagnostics)Basinghall Clinic, 4 Basinghall St, London (EC2V 5BQ)Full time – 40 hours per weekPaying up to £32,920 per annum dependent on experienceRole Overview:As a Nursing Associate you will be joining a state-of-the-art clinic with access to world class diagnostics and consultant led services. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nursing Associate to join our multidisciplinary team at Basinghall Clinic, an advanced outpatient diagnostics centre under Bupa Cromwell Hospital.As a Nursing Associate you will play a crucial role in delivering safe, effective and person-centered care, working collaboratively with our consultants, nurses and administrative team to provide an exceptional patient experience. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to high-quality care delivery within dynamic and innovative outpatient setting.What you'll do:
  • Delivery high quality, compassionate care to patients under the supervision of
registered nurses and in accordance of the Nursing and Midwifery Code and
Standards of Proficiency for Nursing Associates. * Support patients throughout their outpatient journey, including diagnostics,minor procedures and follow up care. * Monitor and record patient’s vital signs, clinical observations and escalateconcerns in line with clinical policies and procedures. * Assist with minor clinical procedures and support consultants during diagnostic or interventional appointments.
  • Perform venepuncture, ECGs, wound care, bladder scans and other clinical
tasks within your scope of practice. * Maintain accurate, timely, and complete patient documentation using theappropriate platforms. * Work collaboratively across all clinics, liaising effectively with consultants,admin staff and the Cromwell hospital where appropriate. * Contribute to quality improvement activities, audits, and service developmentprojects within the unit. * Compliance with infection prevention and control standards, health and safetyregulations, and organisational policies. * Participate in clinical supervision, reflective practices, and ongoing professional development.
  • Demonstrate the ability to recognise changing priorities, able to seek advice
and guidance from the Registered Nurse or other registered care professionals
as appropriate. * Communicate effectively with colleagues, providing clear verbal, digital orwritten information and instructions when sharing information, delegating, or
handing over responsibility for care. * Support flexibility with off duty to maintain a well-resourced clinical area.
  • Participate in clinical audits as required by the clinical staff.
  • Ensure adequate stock levels to allow care to be provided.
What you’ll bring:
  • Registered Nursing Associate Foundation.
  • ILS trained.
  • Minimum 1 year experience as a Nursing associate working in a clinical environment.
  • Experience in an outpatient or acute care setting.
  • Experience, chaperoning and supporting diagnostic procedures.
  • Immunisation training.
  • Competent with venepuncture, cannulation, basic wound care and use of ANTT.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Computer literate and to be able to manage electronic patient records.
