Finlay Jude Associates are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Site Agent to join their Construction team on a key project based at Testwood.This is a fantastic opportunity to join a major contractor, working on an exciting joint venture project.As Site Agent, you will report directly to the Site Manager and be responsible for providing setting out and quality control services, ensuring that works are delivered to specification, safely and to the highest standard. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate site records and supporting project delivery.Benefits:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure all works are carried out in line with C.D.M. Regulations and company safe working practices.
  • Assist with construction programmes, Method Statements, Action Plans and Risk Assessments.
  • Undertake setting out duties on site.
  • Check site works to ensure compliance with specifications and drawings.
  • Agree site measurements and records with client representatives.
  • Maintain drawing files, registers and site filing systems.
  • Liaise with the design department to ensure up-to-date information is in use.
  • Take off quantities from drawings to support measurements and requisitions.
  • Assist in the preparation of construction completion documentation.
  • Ensure all works are constructed to a high quality, in line with specifications and good practice.
  • Maintain all required quality records.
  • Support compliance with current legislation, company health & safety policies and procedures.
  • Promote strong communication across the site team.
  • Lead by example in demonstrating positive safety behaviours.
Essential:
  • BTEC National or HNC in Civil Engineering/Construction (minimum)
  • Levelling & Surveying experience (using total stations & automatic level)
Desirable:
  • First Aid at Work qualification
  • SSSTS
  • CSCS Supervision card
  • EUSR SHEA Water
