- Experience working with young people in schools, colleges, alternative or specialist provisions, or PRUs or specialist provision.
- Experience supporting learners with SEND or SEMH, such as Autism, ADHD, Mental Health, and additional needs.
- Experience delivering personalised support plans, with a focus on play, arts-based activities, and interest-led learning.
- Knowledge of de-escalation strategies, managing behaviour, and supporting learners through dysregulation or anxiety.
- The ability to build trusting relationships with both learners and families.
- A good understanding of the local area and the community resources available.
- Eligibility to live and work in the UK with no restrictions on working hours.
- An enhanced DBS certificate registered on the Children's barred list only and registered to the DBS Update Service.
- Identifying emotional, social or financial barriers impacting tuition attendance.
- Delivering tailored 1:1 mentoring support to learners in their homes.
- Creating positive, learner-led sessions that focus on building trust and self-esteem.
- Using games, play and arts-based activities to engage learners.
- Completing an initial assessment, Individual Learning Plan (ILP), and ongoing progress reports.
- Supporting parents/carers to embed daily routines around sleep, independence, and preparing for learning.
- Encouraging engagement with positive community activities (trips to amenities must be accompanied by a parent/carer).
- Helping learners link education with aspirations and long-term goals.
- Promoting wellbeing, emotional regulation, and resilience.
- Supporting parents/carers to set achievable incentives and goals around attendance.
- Submitting accurate and timely reports following each session.

- Weekly Pay through PAYE.
