- Lead Bid Content Development: Create high-quality, tailored written responses for tenders, PQQs, RFQs, and ITTs, ensuring a consistent tone of voice and alignment with Trinity’s values and proposition.
- Shape Win Themes & Strategy: Analyse tender documents to understand client priorities, evaluation criteria, and competitive positioning — using these insights to produce persuasive and targeted responses.
- Drive Collaboration: Coordinate effectively with technical specialists, project teams, and senior stakeholders to extract key information and transform it into compelling bid narratives.
- Maintain & Enhance Bid Library: Manage and develop a central repository of bid content, including case studies, policies, and standard responses, ensuring all materials reflect best practice and are regularly updated.
- Quality & Compliance: Proofread and tailor all submissions to meet exacting requirements, ensuring compliance with tender specifications, accuracy, and presentation standards.
- Post-Bid Contribution: Support post-submission reviews, feedback analysis, and bid handovers to operational teams, while assisting with risk assessments and compliance documentation.
- Exceptional written English with proven experience producing clear, persuasive, and accurate content in a bid or commercial writing role.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret tender requirements and shape content to score highly against evaluation criteria.
- Highly organised, able to manage multiple bids simultaneously and meet challenging deadlines.
- Impeccable attention to detail, grammar, and formatting.
- Confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills, capable of working with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel, with experience using online tender portals.
- Solid understanding of the tender process (PQQs, ITTs, RFPs, frameworks) and its commercial context.
- Background in the Fire & Security sector or a comparable technical/service-led industry.
- Understanding of relevant British Standards, industry regulations, and compliance frameworks.
- Awareness of Health & Safety documentation and processes (e.g., RAMS, accreditations).
- APMP accreditation or similar bid-related training/certification.
