This is an ideal opportunity for aspiring teachers to build classroom experience in a supportive and ambitious school environment.The Role – Graduate Teaching AssistantAs a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teaching staff across a range of subjects and key stages, supporting the academic and personal development of students. You’ll play an essential role in helping pupils access learning, reinforcing subject content, and creating a positive classroom atmosphere.Key Responsibilities: - Graduate Teaching Assistant
- Support the delivery of lessons across various subjects at Key Stage 3 and 4.
- Work 1:1 or in small groups with students who need additional support.
- Assist in the preparation of lesson materials and classroom resources.
- Help manage classroom behaviour and ensure students stay engaged.
- Adapt support strategies for pupils with SEND, EAL, or other learning needs.
- Encourage a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Take part in extracurricular activities and wider school life where possible.
- A recent graduate (any subject) with a minimum 2:1 degree.
- Passionate about education and enthusiastic about supporting young learners.
- A confident communicator with a proactive and positive attitude.
- Ideally experienced in tutoring, mentoring, or volunteering with young people.
- Committed to a full-time role for the full 2025/26 academic year.
- Earn up to £650 per week while gaining valuable classroom experience.
