- Educated to degree level in a relevant subject or equivalent level of experience/knowledge from working in a similar area/environment
- TSI trained with evidence of outcomes or similar experienceS/PGCE/)
- Teaching qualification or relevant experience related to young people with learning disabilities difficulties/Autism.
- TSI trained with evidence of outcomes or similar experience
- Experience working with young people with SEN
- Knowledge of administrative procedures, project management and information analysis
- Experience of dealing with a wide range of stakeholders and providing information and advice
- Experience in post-16 education and working in a classroom environment
- Ability to teach/support interns with learning disability difficulty or Autism in work based learning methods
- Ability to teach/train mentors in supported internship methodology
- Skills for communication on complex information and placement matters, requiring developed interpersonal and oral/ written communication skills.
- Ability to pull together comprehensive draft reports, data and letters
- Recognises that improved intern care is at the heart of all decision making
- Driven by the needs of the interns and service users
