- Acting as the main point of contact for a portfolio of clients.
- Building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with clients.
- Understanding clients' businesses and providing tailored advice.
- Ensuring client satisfaction and retention.
- Reviewing and finalising accounts, tax returns, and other financial reports.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and deadlines.
- Preparing and reviewing VAT returns and other compliance documents.
- Possessing strong technical skills in accounting, tax, and relevant software.
- Staying up-to-date with changes in accounting standards and tax legislation.
- Leading and mentoring junior team members.
- Overseeing the work of other team members and providing guidance.
- Conducting performance reviews and supporting team development.
- Identifying opportunities for additional services and business growth.
- Contributing to the firm's overall business development strategy.
- Managing client billing and work-in-progress (WIP).
