4 on / 4 off rotating shifts (Days 6am–6pm / Nights 6pm–6am)Are you experienced in industrial-scale production environments and looking to take on a varied, hands-on operational role? Join a well-established, global manufacturing site operating 24/7, supplying high-quality product to the brewing, distilling, and food sectors.The RoleYou’ll be working as part of a small, skilled team ensuring the smooth running of both maltings and silo operations across the site. Duties will include:Key Responsibilities:Operate and monitor Steeping, Germination, and Kilning processesManage silo operations: grain movement, sampling, and record-keepingProduce residual pellets and handle by-productsLiaise with commercial, engineering, and site management teamsComplete cleaning duties in line with hygiene standardsOperate borehole chemical dosing and effluent treatment plantPerform basic maintenance tasks and assist engineersConduct product dispatch, container loading, and weighbridge operationUse forklift, scissor lift, and Manitou equipment where requiredParticipate in harvest operations and support temporary workersGeneral Compliance:Follow health & safety legislation, food safety regulations, and quality/environmental proceduresMaintain accurate records and operate machinery safely and effectivelySupport other areas of the plant as required through trainingWhat We’re Looking ForEssential:Literate and numerateSelf-motivated and proactive with strong problem-solving skills
