- Adapt English curriculum and teaching methods to suit the unique needs of a diverse range of learners.
- Utilise alternative literacy frameworks to support student progress.
- Create and maintain a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment.
- Build strong, positive relationships with students, parents, and staff.
- Effectively manage classroom behaviour and ensure a productive learning atmosphere.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is mandatory.
- A minimum of 6 months of experience working with students with special educational needs is essential.
- Experience teaching students with Autism, ADHD, Specific Learning Difficulties (SLD), and Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD) is highly preferred.
- You must hold or be willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS check.
- You must have the legal right to work in the UK.
