📄 Full-Time ¦ PermanentBinnies UK, part of the RSK Group, is seeking an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to support our Project Quantity Surveyor on the Severn Trent Water Industrial Effluent Disposal (IED) programme, while also providing an administrative function to the wider Industrial Water service line. This is a great opportunity to grow your career in the water sector with a leading consultancy.What You’ll Be DoingIn this role, you will:
✅ Support the Project QS with commercial and contractual duties on the STW IED programme
✅ Assist with cost reporting, procurement schedules, and applications for payment
✅ Manage and archive essential project documentation
✅ Prepare reports and ensure compliance with agreed procedures and systems
✅ Support subcontract management, including documentation, interim assessments, and variations
✅ Provide administrative support to the wider Industrial Water service lineWhat We’re Looking For✔ Studying for HNC, HND, or Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field
✔ Awareness or experience of: subcontract accounts, procurement, applications for payment, cost/value reporting, and variations
✔ Knowledge of standard forms of contract and construction processes
✔ Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
✔ Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
