CLASS 2 DRIVER - TRAMPINGMONDAY - FRIDAY: START TIMES - 6AM£15.00 PER HOURPeople Solutions are currently recruiting for a Class 2 Driver to join our well-established client based in the Rochdale.This is a fantastic opportunity offering great rates of pay and room to grow and progress.BenefitsAs a Class 2 Driver you will receive the following benefits:

Day to Day DutiesYour duties as a Class 2 Driver will involve but not be limited to:
  • General Haulage Deliveries (working on curtain-side)
  • Operate and drive various Class 2 vehicles in a safe and efficient manner to and from delivery locations
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
  • Ensure all cargo is loaded and secured properly
  • Adhere to traffic laws and regulations
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers
  • Report any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to management
  • Assist with loaded and unloading of cargo as needed
Essential SkillsAs a Class 2 Driver you will need to:
  • Hold a valid UK Category C Driving Licence
  • Have a minimum of two years’ experience driving Category C vehicles
  • No more than six penalty points for minor infringements and no major endorsement codes
  • Have a valid UK CPC Card and UK Digi Card
  • Must be able to speak and read a good level of English
  • Punctuality and excellent time keeping skills
  • Have a good understanding of traffic laws and regulations
  • Effective communication skills
Desirable Experience
  • Experience driving any commercial vehicles
  • Previous experience with multi drop deliveries
Training
  • Industry related training and ongoing support throughout
