Service Care Legal are seeking a dedicated Family Solicitor with experience in Family Law to join a supportive and growing legal practice. This role offers the chance to manage a varied caseload, supervise junior staff, and contribute to both legal aid and private client work. Role: Family Solicitor Location: Lewisham Salary: £35,000 - £55,000 per annum DOE Key Responsibilities Manage a caseload of family and Court of Protection matters (legal aid and private). Supervise and mentor trainees and paralegals, ensuring compliance with LAA requirements. Represent clients in court, liaising with counsel and external professionals. Deliver excellent client care, keeping clients updated on progress and costs. Monitor billing (target 3.5) and maintain accurate time recording. Keep up to date with legal developments and contribute to business development. What We're Looking For Qualified Solicitor with proven experience in Family Law (Court of Protection experience desirable). Strong advocacy, negotiation, and client-care skills. Ability to manage and prioritise a busy caseload. Experience supervising junior colleagues. Knowledge of LAA funding and compliance.
