Are you a newly qualified teacher or teaching assistant? Or do you have experience in working with children with Special Educational Needs.Our opportunityIn this role, you'll be the hero for students who need a little extra help. You'll work closely with small groups and individual students, guided by the class teacher. It's all about creating a supportive and dynamic learning environment where every student can thrive.We are looking for a LSA who:
  • Will be able to provide one-to-one, small group and in-class support for students, under the direction of the class teacher and Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator.
  • Will be confident and empathetic working with students who have a range of support needs, which can include physical, learning, emotional and behavioural needs.
  • Will have good literacy, numeracy and interpersonal skills and have experience of supporting and working with students with a range of additional learning needs.
  • Has suitable experience of working in a school environment with students and possesses an understanding of the importance of safeguarding children in a school setting.
