
Lead Radiographer Nuclear Medicine and PETCT

- Accountable for the day-to-day operational management of the Nuclear Medicine, PET CT and BMD departments across sites and to ensure service standardisation within the extended day.
- To take the operational lead within the Nuclear Medicine/PET CT/DEXA department.
- To act as an innovative leader, to encourage new ways of working
- To work effectively and collaboratively with the Departmental Manager and Directorate manager to support business planning and the strategic direction of the Nuclear Medicine/PETCT/DEXA service
- To develop the expansion of the Nuclear Medicine/PETCT/DEXA service across the site.
- To liaise closely with lead clinicians thus contributing to the effective running of the service.
- To lead development and regulation of new protocols.To be responsible for writing and implementing all standard operating procedures for Nuclear Medicine/PETCT/DEXA.and to facilitate research opportunities in Nuclear Medicine/ PETCT/DEXA.
- Master's degree or high level of experience in Nuclear Medicine and PETCT
- DCR or Degree in Radiographer/Nuclear Medicine Technology.
- IT skills, word processing, Email and spreadsheets
- Demonstratable experience in Nuclear Medicine and PETCT
- Supervision of Radiographic staff
- Audit
