- Shifts - varied based on client needs
- Each assignment will provide you a comfortable bedroom with reasonable amenities
- The areas we cover have some lovely countryside, beautiful market towns and villages, close to the river Thames yet still easily accessible to London
- Helping someone get out of bed, washed/showered, dressed and other elements of personal care.
- Preparing breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
- Medication administration
- Helping with light housework, laundry, vacuuming, ironing, or a spot of gardening
- Helping with grocery shopping.
- Being a listening ear and to treat them with the respect and dignity everyone deserves.
- Ability to listen, communicate clearly and build relationships with clients and their families in a friendly and pleasant manner.

- Excellent timekeeper who is organised and reliable.
- This role will require you to obtain an Enhanced Disclosure from the relevant body.
- Class 1 business insurance (if using own car for business purposes) or reliable transport.
- Above all, you will have an empathetic nature and a real passion to make a difference in the life of an older person.
- Previous experience in supporting individuals with dementia is preferred, including providing companionship, managing behavioral changes, and assisting with daily living activities.
- Experience in moving and handling stroke patients preferred.
