- Must possess GCSE English and Maths Grade C or above or equivalent
- Knowledge of administrative procedures, acquired through formal training or experience to diploma level equivalent
- Demonstrable recent relevant clinical experience.
- Evidence of any education related training programmes pertaining to clinical trials or NHS research
- Recent GCP training
- Understanding of Trust confidentiality procedures (Data Protection Act, Caldicott guidelines)
- Experience of patient management systems i.e. eRecord and electronic data capture systems
- Evidence of supervising junior staff
- 2 years minimum experience of working in a clinical research or able to demonstrate equivalent relevant experience
- Knowledge and expertise regarding the mandatory standards required for conduction/construction of clinical trials (to include GCP/Research Governance Framework/E.U. Directive/GDPR)
- Ability to co ordinate collection of data to agreed timescales
- Flexible attitude to work
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to monitor and plan in advance own workload and prioritise according to the teams needs as well as the ability to balance conflicting workloads
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work as a team
- Ability to troubleshoot effectively
