An exciting opportunity has arisen for a suitably qualified person to join our existing team of Consultant Orthodontists and therapists based at South Warwickshire Foundation Trust, comprising Warwick and Stratford Hospitals. The service has brand new, modern facilities with five surgeries, radiology and a fully equipped dental lab on the Warwick Hospital site, and links with the Oral-Maxillofacial Surgery service in Coventry.The service is provided across three sites at Warwick, Stratford upon Avon and Nuneaton. Clinics are predominantly provided at the main site in Warwick but there may be occasions where clinics take place at the other sites.Applicants must be on the General Dental Council specialist list in Orthodontics and expect to hold the Intercollegiate Specialty Fellowship Examination in Orthodontics (or equivalent) by commencement date. The main activities of the orthodontic department are diagnosis/planning/treatment of severe and complex malocclusion including patients with clefts of the lip and/or palate, day-case GA and LA operating, and multi-disciplinary management of patients with skeletal deformity and/or complex restorative needs.
