BasildonJob Description:Are you an experienced packer looking for your next opportunity? Do you thrive in a fast‑paced environment where accuracy and attention to detail are key? We are recruiting Packers for a well‑established manufacturing company in Basildon.You will be working as part of a busy production team, packing finished products at the end of the line, ensuring they are prepared to the highest standards before dispatch. This role requires being on your feet for the duration of the shift and working to production targets in a high‑energy setting.Ideal skills and experience:
  • At least 1 year of recent packing or similar production experience
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining quality standards
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Physically fit and comfortable with standing for long periods
  • Reliable and punctual work ethic
Key Responsibilities:
  • Packing finished products quickly and accurately at the end of the production line
  • Checking product quality and reporting any faults or defects
  • Labelling and sealing products ready for dispatch
  • Following all health & safety guidelines
  • Working closely with the production team to meet daily targets
Hours / Shift Pattern:
  • Rotating shifts: 06:00–14:00 and 14:00–22:00
  • May be required to work 06:00–18:00 on occasion
  • Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturday shifts on the same rota
  • Overtime may be available
