The successful candidate will join a talented and motivated multi-disciplinary team, working with a global team of innovators to develop new industry-leading IC products for the high-growth data center and energy markets.Responsibilities:
Lead the development of analog subsystems, with the potential to lead entire IC product developments, working with a team of analog designers to generate creative and innovative ideas, define specifications, develop architectures and execute designs, including transistor-level design, behavioral modeling, pre-silicon verification and documentation, and post-silicon validation
Develop optimized solutions with consideration of performance, area, power, risk, resources, and schedule
Contribute to the continuous improvement of development flows and methodologies for the team
Provide guidance and support to other functions, including the layout team, test development, and bench evaluation
Support technical feasibility investigations and advanced development projects
Provide mentorship and technical leadership for junior engineers, enabling a culture of continuous learning and improvement
Minimum Qualifications & Experience:
Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering, with 7+ years of analog circuit design experience
Experience in complex IC and IP developments
Good understanding of semiconductor device physics
Strong technical and analytical background with good problem-solving skills
Strong team worker within multi-discipline, multi-cultural and multi-site environments
Good understanding of analog and mixed-signal design flow and top-down development methodology
Excellent written and verbal communication
Preferred Qualifications & Experience:
Power management design experience, especially switching DC-DC converters, gate drivers, or hotswap controllers
Python scripting ability
Analog behavioral modeling and MSDV experience
