Manchester University Press is a leading academic publisher producing around 200 new books and a selection of journals each year in the humanities and social sciences. Working in our Production Department, you will assist the Editorial Services Manager with the efficient handover of books from editorial into production. You will also liaise with our authors and suppliers, checking proofs and schedules, working with the team to ensure we meet our publication deadlines.The successful candidate will have a passion for academic publishing. You will have a keen eye for detail and solid editorial skills. You will be an excellent administrator, ensuring accurate records are kept and enjoy working as part of a team.
