Are you a qualified nurse looking for a new challenge?Do you have experience working with eating disorders?We are looking for compassionate individual to join us as a Band 6 Charge Nurse at Cotswold House Marlborough on a part time basis. We are a 12 bedded mixed gender ward which offers inpatient and day patient treatment to adults with an eating disorder.As a Senior Nurse you will be demonstrating clinical expertise in eating disorder care and providing role modelling, facilitation, and education to the nursing and wider team. In addition, you will contribute to the development of the eating disorder service in connection with the Service Manager, Modern Matron, Clinical Team Manager and other clinical leads. Our practice is guided by evidence and best-practice, and we believe excellent clinical supervision and reflective spaces are essential maintain wellbeing and reflective practice.Main duties of the jobThe role importantly involves shift work which provides cover 24 hours, 7 days a week. This includes nights and weekends.We have a skilful and dedicated MDT team to work alongside including nurses, doctors, clinical psychologists, occupational therapists, family therapists, and dieticians. There is the opportunity to work alongside different disciplines to share knowledge, ideas and ensure that the assessment of an individual and their family/carer is thorough and individualised.You will have the opportunity to support the Clinical Nurse Lead, Ward Manager and Modern Matron in leading the nursing team; this can range from being involved in supporting staff recruitment, assisting for interviews, delivering preceptorship, completing inductions, and identifying training needs within the nursing team and resolving how to address these.You will also assist in ensuring that the unit meets all Trust and National policies and guidelines and may support the implementation of any audits or changes in standards or policy alterations. You will be part of the team who identifies training needs and delivers these to the nursing team.
