Your Aramark Journey starts here!Aramark UK are currently recruiting for a General Service Assistant to be a part of our integral team at Argos / Sainsburys, North Kettering Business Park, Glendon Road, Kettering, Northamptonshire, NN14 1UB.As a Food Service Assistant, you will mainly be working front-of-house. You will support day-to-day operations working 4pm – 8pm (3 from 5 nights) Monday to Friday by serving food and beverages to our customers, alongside till work, cleaning dining areas and supporting both front and back of house areas.   • You will be working 4pm – 8pm Mon – Fri (3 nights) with occasional weekend cover.
  • Contracted to 12 hours per week and the hourly rate is £12.21.

A day in the life of a Food Service Assistant:
  • You will be serving food and beverages to customers, ensuring all health and safety protocols are adhered to and excellent customer service is always provided.
  • Stocking up, stock rotation, facing up, spot cleaning, cleaning dining and serving areas, both front and back of house.
  • Operating the micros till and processing card payments, ensuring you process any financial records accordingly. You will also be serving on the food counters and upselling products/sizes.
You will be set up for success if you have:
  • Previous customer facing / food service experience is desirable, however full training will be given on site.
  • For this role you must be 18+
  • Must have eligibility to work in the UK and have resided for longer than 3 years. Security checks are required for this role
  • Must have reliable transport due to the location of the site and limited public transport.
