Technical ManagerWe are working with a fourth-generation, family-run business that's on the lookout for a Technical Manager who is passionate about produce and obsessed with quality. They supply the top UK supermarkets, independents, and foodservice with products that meet the highest standards of safety, legality, and integrity. You'll be the gatekeeper of product quality once it lands on-site. Reporting to the Technical Director, you'll make sure every bite is safe, every audit is a win, and there Quality Management System is always a step ahead.The role
Lead internal audits, customer visits, and certification compliance - always audit-ready!
Keep the QMS alive and thriving - up to date, watertight, and top-tier.
Build strong relationships with farms, labour providers, and customers.
Be the go-to on legislation, food safety alerts, and product integrity risks (TACCP/VACCP).
Manage and mentor our QA & QC teams - leading with purpose and clarity.What we're looking for:
Logical and dynamic decision-maker (who stays cool when it gets hot)
Effective people leader with sharp communication and mentoring skills
Integrity-driven, solution-focused, and obsessively organised
Knowledge of fresh produce, BRCGS, and customer codes of practice
