Working at our equipment management site, where it's all about recycling & reuse, for one of the largest supermarket retailers in the UK. You'll play a key role in a busy recycling centre, handling cardboard, plastic, and food waste, as well as supporting the efficient operation of the tray wash process.You'll be working on a full-time, permanent basis, Monday to Friday, covering the hours of 06:00 to 14:00.Pay, benefits and more:As a Warehouse Operative, you'll get:
  • An hourly rate of £12.21 (inclusive of shift allowance)

What you'll do on a typical day:
  • Load empty trays onto the wash machine ready for cleaning
  • Unload clean trays from the wash machine, stack away and wrap ready for collection
  • Ensure a hazard-free zone by guaranteeing that all work areas are kept clean and tidy
  • Other warehouse duties depending on operations needs
What you need to succeed at GXO
  • Warehouse experience beneficial but not essential
  • A can-do attitude with a willingness to learn something new!
  • Willing to work in an environment with lots of repetitive work
