- Demonstrable experience in a maintenance or service environment
- Knowledge covering operation and first line maintenance of oFire Alarm Systems oFire Fighting Equipment oPortable Appliance Testing oWater Systems oLifts oAsbestos oWorking at Heights
- Demonstrable experience in a healthcare maintenance or equivalent service in a healthcare environment
- Asbestos Awareness, Pasma
- Completed a relevant recognized Maintenance training scheme or an appropriate level City & Guilds certificate / NVQ in Construction or demonstrate equivalent level of experience
- Have a sound understanding of Building and/or Civil engineering to carry out a range of basic maintenance tasks.
- Good standard of general education, GCSE grade C or above
- Subject to the provisions of the Equality Act (2010), able to travel using a Trust vehicle on Trust business
- Health and safety knowledge
