A leading global manufacturer of material processing equipment is seeking a Senior New Product Development (NPD) Design Engineer to join their expanding team in Omagh. This role focuses on the design and development of mobile crushing and screening plants, integrating mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems on tracked platforms.Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead new product design projects from concept to production.
  • Develop complete plant layouts including crushers, screens, conveyors, and power systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across engineering, production, service, and sales.
  • Conduct performance and stress analysis, costing, and hydraulic circuit design.
Essential Criteria:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Mechatronic or related engineering discipline.
  • 5+ years’ experience in equipment design and manufacturing.
  • Strong knowledge of SolidWorks (or similar CAD), Microsoft Office, and ERP systems.
  • Experience with structural, hydraulic and electrical/control system integration.
Desirable:
  • Background in mobile crushing or screening plant design.
  • FEA experience.
  • Previous supervisory or project leadership exposure.
