Volunteering Development OfficerVolunteering Development OfficerHybrid: 37.5 hours per week (part-time considered). At least 2 days from an OSJCT office or ServiceLocation: Based at our new Aylesbury office (opening this autumn) - at Athelstan House in Malmesbury in the interim which can be discussed at interview. We're also open to applications from people living in the other counties we work in - Oxfordshire, Wiltshire and Gloucestershire.Salary: £34,000About the role:At OSJCT, volunteers are important members of our teams. Our volunteers take on many different roles, helping us to connect our Services with the wider community. They share their skills and interests to support our residents in continuing the activities and pastimes that matter most to them.In this role, you'll create tools, training, and resources that ensures volunteering is easy to access, safe to deliver, and rewarding for everyone involved. You'll support the creation of meaningful new roles, work with Marketing & PR to share inspiring volunteer stories, and help keep volunteers connected and engaged.Using our volunteer management system Assemble, you'll help spot opportunities to improve how we work and get the best out of the system. You'll also co-develop training for colleagues who support volunteers, making sure every volunteer receives consistent, high-quality support and every service benefits fully from volunteering for the people who live with us.This is a hybrid role based at our new Aylesbury office, opening this autumn (although we'll consider applications from those living in other regions where we work).You'll spend time in our services across Oxfordshire, Wiltshire, Gloucestershire, Buckinghamshire, and sometimes Lincolnshire.
