If “YES,” we want to hear from you!About the RoleAs a Class 1 Driver, you will:
- Handle the loading and unloading of caged products from refrigerated trucks, ensuring goods are transported safely and securely.
- Operate out of Haverfordwest, delivering to Regional Distribution Centres (RDCs) and ASDA stores across North and South Wales – no two days are the same!
- Some handballing and self-tipping will be required, ideal for those who enjoy staying active and engaged throughout the day.
- Use your company-issued phone to carry out thorough daily vehicle safety inspections, helping us maintain the highest standards of road safety and reliability.
- Stay in regular contact with our transport team, providing updates on your progress to ensure smooth operations and excellent customer service.
- Take part in regular training sessions to keep your skills sharp and stay up to date with the latest industry standards and best practices.
- You must hold a valid UK Class 1 CE Licence, enabling you to operate articulated vehicles with confidence and professionalism.
- A current Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (DCPC) and a Digital Tachograph Driver Card are essential to ensure compliance with legal and safety standards.
- Previous experience working with refrigerated trailers is a plus, but not essential — full training will be provided to get you up to speed.

- You’ll need to be comfortable working to tight schedules, managing your time effectively to ensure deliveries are made promptly and safely.

- A good understanding of UK road networks, particularly across Wales and surrounding regions, will help you navigate routes efficiently and avoid delays.
- Competitive Salary: £38,220 per annum - £43,680 per annum, depending on hours worked. Additional £2.75ph for working between 21:00hrs and 04:00hrs.
- Shift Hours: Start between 03:00hrs – 07:00hrs, based on a 4on 4off rota basis, working 12 hour shifts.
