Whether you're looking for better career progression, improved financial security or just a better sense of belonging, we believe we've created a culture in which everyone can succeed, no matter how you got here.The PositionJoining our Deployment Automation team, you will be a Senior Platform Engineer with experience working in a cloud environment with Python (or similar).In this role you'll get to see the benefit that you provide to your customers (our other development teams) on a daily basis and see the positive impact and difference you can make to their working lives.Our stack includes: Terraform, Python, AWS, and CI/CD pipelines. We don't expect experience with all of these - the team will support you in learning and developing your skillset, and FanDuel advocates for continuous learning!Some of your responsibilities will include:
  • Building and supporting tools/frameworks that automate how development teams manage and support infrastructure-as-code or development environments
  • Creating and promoting best practices generally in your role, but specifically around supporting developer excellence
  • Following best practices to create high quality code
  • Be a team player, reflecting FanDuel values everyday
What We're Looking For
  • Strong experience in scripting or service development (ideally Python)
  • Experience with infrastructure-as-code implementations and best practices (CloudFormation, Terraform, etc)
  • Experience contributing to CI/CD tooling and processes
  • Experience building cloud-based solutions and configurations (ideally with AWS)
  • Keen to learn and work with new technologies and stacks
  • Ability to build relationships with colleagues across the company
