Mears provide tailored rapid-response and planned maintenance services through partnering arrangements with more than 70 local authorities, Arm’s Length Management Organisations and Housing Associations.About the Role:A Multi Skilled Operative within our Eastbourne branch will support residents with responsive repairs across our portfolio of properties working on a planned route. Part of a local team undertaking high standard Multi Trade repairs and refurbishment activities to housing properties delivering best in class customer service and satisfying all safety, quality, and cost control standards. You will have a certified core trade and complimenting this can deliver additional trade activities in support of completing repair/refurbishment works on time and to a high standard in accordance with agreed standard operating procedures. Take ownership in undertaking construction, fault finding and maintenance repairs aiming for a first-time completion whilst remaining within budget and time parameters.Key Criteria:
  • Previous experience in in joinery, plumbing, tiling, plastering, and decorating.
  • A relevant qualification or experience in at least three trades.
  • UK full driving licence
  • Provide own hand tools.
