Job Title: CNC Turner Programmer - FanucJob Type: PermanentLocation: RochdaleSalary: £19ph DOESchedule: Monday - Thursday 8am till 4pm - Friday 8-3pmOvertime: Readily available all at x1.5Based in Rochdale, our client are a company that specialize in the design and manufacture of moulds and dies for the plastics, rubber and diecasting industries.Job descriptionThe role of CNC Programmer, setter operator will include the following duties:
  • Programming, Setting & Operating 2 axis Lathes, using Fanuc Controls
  • Be able to use basic inspection equipment.
The ideal candidate will:
  • Have proven experience of programming, setting and operating Turning Machines with Fanuc controls.
  • Be able to demonstrate the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
  • Ideally having an engineering apprenticeship, however, experience is the overriding factor.
  • Overtime/additional hours may be required, depending on the workload of the business.
  • Be able to work well on their own as well as part of a team.
  • Producing high-quality work to fine tolerances.
  • Professional and self-motivated attitude.
  • Good organisational & time management skills.
