The Role – Graduate Science Academic MentorAs a Graduate Science Academic Mentor, you will:
  • Deliver targeted 1:1 and small-group Science intervention sessions.
  • Support engaging practical experiments and lab-based learning.
  • Help students master challenging concepts in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
  • Assist with lesson delivery, preparation, and curriculum development.
  • Mentor students to boost confidence, understanding, and exam performance.
This Graduate Science Academic Mentor role is more than just classroom assistance—you will be an active part of shaping future scientists’ success.Who We’re Looking For – Graduate Science Academic Mentor
  • A 2:1 or First-Class degree in Chemistry, Biology, Physics, or a related discipline.
  • Strong knowledge across multiple science areas.
  • Clear, confident communication skills and the ability to explain complex concepts simply.
  • Passion for education and a desire to work as a Graduate Science Academic Mentor before training to teach.
  • Experience working with young people (tutoring, mentoring, volunteering) is desirable but not essential.
