- Manage a caseload of Care Proceedings, child protection matters and complex childcare cases
- Deliver clear and compassionate legal advice to clients during sensitive proceedings
- Represent clients in court and liaise with local authorities, guardians and experts
- Mentor junior solicitors and contribute to team development
- Maintain strong client relationships with a professional and empathetic approach
- Support the firm’s long-term strategy in childcare and public family law
- Qualified Childcare Solicitor with at least 4+ years' PQE
- Experience handling complex public law children matters
- Children Panel Accreditation is highly desirable but not essential
- Strong understanding of legal aid procedures and child protection legislation
- Excellent advocacy, negotiation and client care skills
- Proactive, organised and capable of managing a busy caseload
