This is a unique opportunity to join one of the most exciting, large-scale industrial developments in many years, where new and emerging technologies will be adopted in support of the rapidly growing electric vehicle marketplace.AESC is currently seeking a highly skilled Customer Project Manager for a significant product development project. This project involves the development of new generation of battery and introduction to large-scale production lines that have never been built before, aiming to accelerate the automotive world electrification and CO2 emission.Your responsibilities include:
  • Before project approval, work together with Marketing & Sales department and Customer solution department in pre-sales project management, complete project approval and opportunity acquisition
  • After project approval, as Project team leader, responsible for the whole process of project development, responsible for delivery, cost and quality
  • For new launch of developed product in new plant, manage as specific project to ensure localization of design, process, supply chain and logistic scopes, responsible for delivery, cost and quality
Background and Requirements:
  • Bachelor degree or above, good English listening, speaking, reading and writing skills; Chinese speaker will be highly desired
  • More than 5 years' experience in the automotive industry, including 3 years of project management experience with customer interface experience
  • Good knowledge of cost management, progress management and quality management
  • Have a certain degree of understanding of battery products and vehicle development process
  • Have a certain understanding of new energy industry policies in different countries
  • Rapid risk identification and problem solving skills
