Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.30am–4.00pm

They need your calm, care, and consistency.We’re looking for a dedicated Behaviour Support Worker to join a fantastic school in North Tyneside, supporting children and young people with additional behavioural and emotional needs.This isn’t just about managing behaviour—it’s about building trust, creating safe spaces, and helping learners feel understood. You’ll work alongside teachers and therapists to support pupils who need extra care and consistency to thrive.What you’ll be doing:Using tailored behaviour strategies to support individual pupilsProviding 1:1 and small group support, both in and out of classOffering emotional regulation support for pupils with anxiety or challenging behaviourSupporting pupils who are struggling academically with clear, calm guidanceCreating a nurturing, inclusive environment that promotes positive engagementWhat we’re looking for:A passion for making a difference in the lives of young peopleAn interest in SEND and behaviour support—experience welcome, but not essentialPatience, empathy, and brilliant communication skillsSome knowledge of the national curriculum is helpful, but not essentialRight to work in the UK (we can’t offer sponsorship)Enhanced child DBS on the Update Service, or happy to apply for one with us
