Operations Manager Jobs in Dartford at Stannah - Join Our Team!Stannah has an exciting opportunity for an Operations Manager to join our Network Rail Department , ideally based out of our Dartford Branch.The Operations Manager for the Network Rail Department (NRD) is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the NRD department, ensuring efficient and effective workflow, maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction, and achieving operational targets. This role requires strong leadership skills, exceptional problem-solving abilities, and a focus on optimising operational processes.This job will involve overseeing the daily operations of the KAM'S, Technical and Engineering Team, ensuring safe, efficient, and effective workflows whilst maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction and achieving operational targets.This is a great opportunity for an experienced leader with strong management skills, a passion for customer service, and a commitment to Health & Safety.Working hours will be Monday to Thursday: 08:00 - 16:45 , Fridays: 08:00 - 15:45 .To be successful as the Operations Manager, it is essential that you have previous experience in leading a team in a service team within the lift industry. Experience in operations management, budget control, and process improvement would be desirable.Operations Manager Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily operations Branch Field Management and Engineer Team
  • Ensuring efficiency, service quality, and compliance with Health & Safety policies.
  • Lead, develop, and mentor a high-performing team to achieve operational goals.
  • Manage budgets, support financial targets, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Drive process improvements and ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
  • Maintain strong stakeholder communication, proactively managing customer expectations.
Operations Manager Requirements:
  • Strong leadership, team management, and decision-making skills.
  • Proven experience leadership/management experience within the lift industry.
  • Hands-on expertise in Health & Safety, budgeting, and process management.
  • A valid UK driving licence and willingness to travel as required.
  • Qualified to a minimum of NVQ level 3 Management or equivalent
