This role is ideal for both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) who are passionate about delivering high-quality learning experiences across EYFS to KS2.Responsibilities of a Primary Teacher:
  • Plan and deliver creative, engaging lessons that inspire and challenge pupils across EYFS–KS2.
  • Build a safe, welcoming classroom where children feel supported to take risks and grow.
  • Track, assess, and celebrate pupil progress, identifying next steps for learning.
  • Work closely with colleagues, parents, and carers to promote children’s academic and personal development.
  • Play an active role in the wider school community, always upholding safeguarding responsibilities.
To be successful as a Primary Teacher, you should:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – ECTs are encouraged to apply.
  • Experience teaching in EYFS, KS1, or KS2.
  • Strong behaviour management and classroom organisation skills.
  • A flexible, resilient approach to meet the needs of individual learners.
  • A genuine passion for education and dedication to supporting every child’s success.
  • Provide a full, up-to-date CV with explanations for any gaps in employment in the last 10 years.
