
DISPENSARY MANAGER

- To ensure timely, efficient and accurate dispensing of medication to the patients.
- To assist the SIP in ensuring effective financial control of the dispensary/hybrid.
- To carry out the dispensing assistant role, following the SOPs at all times, and leading the team in safe and effective dispensing practices.
- DSQS reporting
- To assist with implementing new processes and other projects within the dispensary
- To ensure the dispensary is operating cost effectively under the guidance of the Dispensary Manager
- To focus efforts to the maximum benefit of the practice, with respect to the policy decisions made from time to time by the practice.
- To oversee the training of new dispensers.
- To work with the Dispensary Manager in reviewing and updating SOPs.

- Qualifications
- Essential
- GCSE (or equivalent level) English and mathematics at grade C or above.
- Dispensary qualification.
- Management level 3 qualification (or working towards this goal)

- Degree-level study.
- Evidence of relevant continuing professional development and training
