- Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports in accordance with established accounting principles.
- Oversee accounts payable processes, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices.
- Utilise accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, or PeopleSoft for financial record-keeping and reporting.
- Conduct regular reconciliations of bank statements and balance sheet accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Mentor junior accountants and provide guidance on best practices in financial accounting.
- Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards.
- Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights that drive business performance.
- Proven experience in financial accounting or a related field, with a strong understanding of financial management principles.
- Qualified/Qualified by experience
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
