Do you thrive in a collaborative environment where attention to detail and professional support make a real impact?About the roleJoin the Research Governance, Ethics and Contracts team within Research Partnerships and Innovation at the University of Plymouth as a Research Governance and Ethics Administrator.In this pivitol role, you'll support the smooth running of the Faculty Research Ethics Committees and help maintain the integrity of our research practices. You'll work closely with researchers, committee members, and governance colleagues to provide expert administrative support and guidance on ethical issues-particularly those involving human participants or sensitive topics.What you'll do:
  • Provide advice and support on research ethics and integrity.
  • Assist researchers with applications via the Plymouth Ethics Online System (PEOS).
  • Maintain databases and internal resources related to ethics and governance.
  • Support compliance with university policies and regulatory requirements.
What we're looking for:
  • Strong administrative experience and excellent communication skills.
  • A collaborative team player with a keen eye for detail.
  • Confidence in using Microsoft Office and managing data.
  • Experience in a higher education or research environment is desirable.
This is a part-time position working 18.5 hours per week on a permanent basis.For this role, you will need to be on site 2 days a week.
