CNC Milling Programmer/Setter – 3 & 5 AxisWe’re seeking an experienced CNC Milling Programmer/Setter to join a busy machine shop. The successful candidate will be responsible for programming, setting, and operating 3 & 5 axis CNC machining centres. You’ll be working in a clean, well-equipped environment with modern machinery, producing small batch and one-off components to tight tolerances.Key Responsibilities:

Program, set and operate CNC machining centres (3 & 5 axis)
Use VISI CAD/CAM to produce accurate programs
Work with Mazatrol, Siemens or Heidenhain controls
Interpret engineering drawings to produce precision components
Inspect your own work and ensure quality standards are met
Perform preventative maintenance on machinery
Meet production deadlines and contribute to continuous improvement

Requirements:

Proven experience in CNC milling programming, setting and operating
Strong knowledge of VISI CAD/CAM software
Experience with at least one of the following controls: Mazatrol, Siemens, Heidenhain
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
Solid understanding of tooling, feeds and speeds
Confident working to tight tolerances on small batches and one-offs
Self-motivated, quality-focused and reliable

Working Hours:

Monday to Thursday: 08:00 – 16:30
Friday: 08:00 – 15:30
