CNC Milling Programmer/Setter – 3 & 5 AxisWe’re seeking an experienced CNC Milling Programmer/Setter to join a busy machine shop. The successful candidate will be responsible for programming, setting, and operating 3 & 5 axis CNC machining centres. You’ll be working in a clean, well-equipped environment with modern machinery, producing small batch and one-off components to tight tolerances.Key Responsibilities:
  • Program, set and operate CNC machining centres (3 & 5 axis)
  • Use VISI CAD/CAM to produce accurate programs
  • Work with Mazatrol, Siemens or Heidenhain controls
  • Interpret engineering drawings to produce precision components
  • Inspect your own work and ensure quality standards are met
  • Perform preventative maintenance on machinery
  • Meet production deadlines and contribute to continuous improvement
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in CNC milling programming, setting and operating
  • Strong knowledge of VISI CAD/CAM software
  • Experience with at least one of the following controls: Mazatrol, Siemens, Heidenhain
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Solid understanding of tooling, feeds and speeds
  • Confident working to tight tolerances on small batches and one-offs
  • Self-motivated, quality-focused and reliable
Working Hours:
  • Monday to Thursday: 08:00 – 16:30
  • Friday: 08:00 – 15:30
