Lead Water Hygiene EngineerLocation: South East (primarily London-based, with some travel and occasional overnight stays)
Salary up to £38,000 dependant on experience.We are looking for an experienced and motivated Lead Water Hygiene Engineer to join our growing team. This is a hands-on role for someone with proven industry experience, excellent technical knowledge, and the ability to liaise confidently with both engineers and clients.Key Responsibilities:
  • Carrying out water hygiene tasks in line with ACOP L8 / HSG274 guidance.
  • Sampling of domestic water systems.
  • Water temperature testing and monitoring.
  • Clean and disinfection of Cold Water Storage Tanks.
  • Shower head and hose descales.
  • Inspection of Cold Water Storage Tanks / Water Heaters.
  • Thermostatic Mixing Valve (TMV) servicing.
  • Assisting and supporting engineers on-site.
  • Building strong client relationships through clear communication and professional service.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Lead Water Hygiene Engineer.
  • Strong knowledge of ACOP L8 / HSG274.
  • Have a minimum of 3 years industry experience.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Able to pass an enhanced DBS.
  • Willingness to travel into London most days and across the South East region (with some overnight stays when required).
  • Hardworking attitude with attention to detail and a strong commitment to compliance and safety.
