BarnsleyAbout the roleWe at Connect Health are delighted to be growing our team of talented clinicians and are currently looking for a Pain Clinical Specialist Physiotherapist (Clinical Specialist) who is passionate about providing high-quality patient-centred care to join us as part of a large multidisciplinary team in the North West and South Yorkshire Pain Services.The Pain Services provides a tailored approach to the individual service user. The successful candidate will be required to work a hybrid working pattern facilitating face to face and remote clinics in Barnsley and Sheffield and Pain Management Programmes both face to face and online.You will be joining a multidisciplinary team of Physiotherapists, Nurses, Occupational Therapists and Wellbeing Practitioners who are committed and passionate about providing a biopsychosocial model of care to people with persistent pain.We are committed to a multi-professional workforce based on competency and welcome applications from Physiotherapists, Nurses and Occupational Therapists. You’ll be registered with an appropriate professional body and ideally be a qualified practitioner that works within Pain. If you’re able to manage a varied caseload of chronic pain patients, committed to CPD and have the desire to develop yourself and the service, with a keen eye on improving patient care, then we’d like to hear from you.This is a hybrid role working remotely (Telephone and Video clinics) from home and occasional face to face clinics from locations in Barnsley and Sheffield to meet the demands of the service.   • Assess patients’ requirements, in relation to their goals. Plan, manage and review functional and psychological restoration for individuals and groups.
  • Review care plans at timely intervals and communicate effectively with the patient’s GP, advising on ongoing and flare up management plans agreed with the patient.
