- Managing a project's budget by creating cost estimates, monitoring spending, and producing financial reports to ensure it stays on track
- Handling all legal and contractual aspects of a project, including reviewing contracts, managing sub-contractor payments, and resolving claims or disputes
- Identifying and evaluating potential financial risks to the project and creating strategies to minimise them, thereby protecting the contractor's profit
- 2-3 years Experience working for a regional contractor as the Assistant Surveyor
- Ability to use Microsoft Office and bespoke packages
- Good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workloads and can work to tight deadlines
- Willingness to undertake training and development to further progress your career
- Experience working on projects up to £10m
