- We enjoy attending our various day centres with support from staff.
- Other interests we like listening to music, visiting local pubs, and garden centres for lunch. Most of us love to go shopping. Day trips to the seaside and long drives are always on the agenda.
- We like to do in house activities, arts and crafts, jigsaws and Love to put a Disney Movie on especially at the weekends.
- We are fun loving, kind, caring, and often like our own personal space.
- We need the people who support us to be patient, and to understand that at times some of us get very frustrated and we like them to refer to any PBS, or our daily care plan to assist with supporting us in the best way to cope with our individual behaviours and needs.
- Sometimes it is just trivial things that make us incredibly happy, like a hand massage or having our nails painted.
- As some of us are nonverbal, being offered choices, and having things explained to us is particularly important, we each have our own format of communication.
