- To deliver a high standard of patient care, using advanced autonomous clinical skills, and a broad and in-depth theoretical knowledge base.
- Assessing, diagnosing and treating patients conditions, initiating direct referrals as appropriate.
- As an independent prescriber: to prescribe safe, effective and appropriate medication as defined by current legislative frame work.
- As a vital part of our multidisciplinary team, you will have the opportunity to support and care for a diverse patient group.
- Whether you have already developed a specific specialty or have an interest in doing so, we will support your ongoing career and training development.
- You will be a Registered General Practice Nurse (currently registered with the NMC).
- You will hold a recognised ANP qualification at Masters level and work as an independent nurse prescriber.
- You will be able to work with a high degree of autonomy and be confident in leading in a variety of settings.
- You will be forward thinking and strive to develop innovative ideas and new ways of working, that address the health needs of the practice, whilst motivating and encouraging others to do the same.
- As an excellent communicator and collaborator, you will embrace opportunities to work and liaise across multi-professional and agency boundaries in the interests of improving patient outcomes.
- In addition to your highly developed clinical skills, your approach in the role will be consistently compassionate and respectful placing a high value on the dignity of patients, relatives, carers and colleagues.
- It is essential that you have experience in Primary Care and have worked in a GP practice.
