
Junior Electrical Engineer

- Must possess a sound understanding of the HV/LV or mechanical systems & infrastructures found in a hospital environment, along with the required maintenance and upkeep of the infrastructure and associated connected equipment
- Ability to organise and utilise direct labour force costeffectively and efficiently.
- Display a good knowledge of health and safety legislation and appreciation of potential hazards that could occur during the carrying out of maintenance work.
- Control the issue of, and maintain, stock levels of materials.
- Ability to keep accurate records of attendance, sickness, and hours worked, etc
- An excellent appreciation of all trades connected with both electrical engineering and building services.
- The co-ordination of all building and engineering trades during the construction process.
- Must have completed an appropriate Engineering Apprenticeship.
- Must have undertaken management of maintenance work in the past.
- Sound knowledge of mechanical and electrical engineering services found within a hospital environment.
- Must have served an Electrical/multi skilled craft apprenticeship or demonstrate equivalent skills.
- HNC/HND or equivalent.
- Must hold a full current driving license.
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or Building Services.
- A recognised Health & safety Qualification.
