- Lead and manage Engineering Safety investigations, ensuring effective mitigations and compliance with regulatory standards and company procedures.
- Promote a Just Reporting Culture across Engineering and external partners, while overseeing the submission of Mandatory Occurrence Reports within required timescales.
- Supervise the Engineering Safety team, allocate investigations, support risk/change management, and contribute to continuous safety improvement initiatives.
- Deliver safety-related training, represent the department in key meetings, and maintain accurate safety data and communications with internal and external stakeholders.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in Continuing Airworthiness or Aviation Maintenance, with strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proven background in safety investigations, safety management systems, and team leadership.
- Excellent negotiation, coaching, and relationship-building abilities across all business levels.
- Relevant engineering degree or UK/EASA aircraft maintenance licence, with flexibility to travel (valid driving licence and passport required).
