Job DescriptionHR Administrator - 12 Month Maternity Cover
Location: Derby
Salary : £25- £30k DOEWe are seeking an experienced HR Administrator to provide efficient and confidential support for a 12-month maternity cover. This role will play a key part in the smooth running of HR services across the business.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer recruitment and selection, including advertising, liaising with agencies, arranging interviews, preparing offers and contracts, and obtaining references.
  • Maintain employee files, training records, HR databases, and KPI updates.
  • Coordinate inductions, probationary reviews, and training activities.
  • Draft HR correspondence including letters, contracts, notices, and minutes.
  • Support HR processes such as sickness consultations and disciplinaries (after training).
  • Ensure HR policies and procedures are adhered to.
Key Skills:
  • Previous HR or payroll administration experience
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Confident with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • High levels of accuracy, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage workload effectively and maintain professionalism under pressure.
