We are currently partnering with a leading public sector body based in the West Midlands, who are recruiting for an Accounts Payable Assistant to join their team on a temporary contract for 3 months, with strong likelihood the contract will move to permanent.This is a full-time position with an hourly rate of c.£16.50 umbrella (subject to experience) and the start date is ideally by mid-September.Duties will include (but are not limited to):
  • Processing c. 100 invoices per day
  • Resolving queries from suppliers
  • Utilising Excel for reconciliations and analysis
  • Assisting with the weekly payment run
  • Matching PO with GRN
  • Assisting with ad-hoc purchase ledger duties
Experience and skills required:
  • Purchase ledger
  • Excel (VLookups, Pivot Tables)
  • Good eye for detail

Working hours:
  • 37 hours per week
  • Monday - Friday 9am-5pm
